In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35 NIV |

Celebrate Recovery
The purpose of Park Valley Church's Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "8 Recovery Principles". This experience allows us to "be changed". Watch this video to see how people, just like you, are getting victory over their hurts, habits and hang-ups. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our lives' problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power. Celebrate Recovery meets every Wednesday night at Deja Brew Coffee House in Gainesville at 7:00 pm. For more information, please email Mark Brady or call him at 703.655.7969. |
