Join Us This Week:

What to do when you feel unappreciated?

I think all of us feel unappreciated at times and it hurts. Nothing tests our motives more than loving someone who takes us for granted. Jeremiah was despised by the very people that he loved with all his heart. Even though he was unappreciated, his calling from God and his love for his people would not change. This attitude of obedience and faithfulness caused Jeremiah to be one of the most successful prophets in the Old Testament even though not one person during his 50 years of ministry believed what he said. Join us at Park Valley Church in the month of January as we develop a plan from the Bible on what to do when we feel unappreciated.

Service Times:
Saturday @ 6:30 pm
Sunday @ 9:00 am, 10:00 am & 11:15 am

"Get along with each other, and forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you,
forgive that person because the Lord forgave you."
Colossians 3:13 NCV

Singleness: A Life Grounded in Love
Have you ever wondered what God says about singleness, loneliness and you? Beginning on Wednesday, February 3rd at 6:30 pm, the PVC singles group will start a series on singleness and God's purpose for singles. The study "Singleness: A Life Grounded in Love" by Ruth Goring centers around whether you should be marking time or finding God's purpose in being single. You can discover your gifts and how to put them to use and everyone's favorite, coping with temptation. These are just some of the topics to be explored in this exciting study form Inter-Varsity Press. Please join us for this time of fellowship, teaching and study. Contact Veneicia Lockhart at 703.625.4109 or email.

Celebrate Recovery
The purpose of Park Valley Church's Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "8 Recovery Principles". This experience allows us to "be changed". Watch this video to see how people, just like you, are getting victory over their hurts, habits and hang-ups. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our lives' problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power. Celebrate Recovery meets every Wednesday night at Deja Brew Coffee House in Gainesville at 7:00 pm.

For more information, please email Mark Brady or call him at 703.655.7969.
