The church is the greatest and the largest army for good in the world. It’s everywhere and it’s unstoppable. The reason is because the church is more than just an organization, it’s an organism. If you are a believer in Christ, then you are the church because the church is the people not the building. Buildings come and go, countries come and go, but the church remains. The only way you can stop the church (the body of Christ) is if you stop Jesus and no one has the power to stop Him. Over the next three weeks, we are going to talk about how God has not only prepared you, but is also ready to use you in the greatest organization in the world... The Church!

Life Development Classes

God wants you to take your next step spiritually. That could mean getting baptized, committing to take time to dig into the Bible on a daily basis, or maybe God wants you to see what His Word has to say about why you exist. Park Valley's Life Development Classes are all about those next steps.

Time: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Parent Meeting for Middle and High School Students
(Parents of current 5th graders please come also) Wednesday, May 6th from 7:30-9:00PM during the High School Vertical Service at Alvey School. Child Care will be provided. Please email Kevven if you will need child care.

Portrait Days for the new PVC Photo Directory!

We would love to have everyone in our church family included in the new directory. If you have not yet submitted a picture of you or your family, please take advantage this opportunity and allow our Photography Ministry to do a portrait for you. They are also willing to provide you a free digital file copy of the portrait for your future use!

Dates: Saturday May 9th, 5-6:15pm and Sunday May 10th,10am-12:30pm.

If you already have a photo that you would like to use, please send the photo and the names of all included in the photo to mark@parkvalleychurch.com.

Elementary Sports Camp

    When: June 22nd - 26th           Who: Rising Kindergartners to 12 year olds
    Where: Alvey Elementary        Time: 5:30 pm to 8:45pm
    Cost: $80 per student

Sports included are: Soccer (6-12 yr olds), cheerleading (6-12 yr olds), basketball (8-12 yr olds), Team 45 (older 4 and 5yr olds)

Teen Mission Trip Parent Meeting
Sunday 11:15 AM in the Art Room Trip Date: July 26th-Aug 1st Where: Derby, PA Cost: $525.00 Open to all upcoming 9th graders thru graduating seniors. If you have any questions please contact Kevven at 703-366-3870 or email.

Children's Baptism Class
May 3rd at 11:15 am in the library. This class allows parents and kids an opportunity to learn more about baptism and answer questions they might have. For more information email Debbie McCarthy or call 703-472-3805.
