God teaches us that life doesn't boil down to fairness, life boils down to Him getting glory no matter what situation we find ourselves in. The reason we still have a pulse is so that we will give glory to God. For the next two weeks at PVC, we will explore the importance of glorifying God with all that we say and do.

Military Family Outreach
Know of a military family whose service member is deployed overseas? Our new ministry strives to provide encouragement and support through letter writing and small chores around the house. We would love to write the service member also. Please email Lori Phelps for more information.

PVC's Summer Praise Craze

Hello PVC Ladies! In an effort to keep a strong connection between all of us during the hot summer months, BJ Neff and Dede Schaffer, will be hosting a time when we can come together in a "safe" and praise friendly environment to offer the Lord our worship through song.

We will meet on the First Tuesday of each month June-Aug at 7pm.

Baptism Sunday

If you haven't been baptized and need to, Sunday is YOUR day to take the PLUNGE!

Join us outside at Alvey after each of the Sunday services.

We'll have everything you need (shorts, t-shirt & towels) for this big day. Come join us!

New York City Bus Trip! Saturday, October 3rd

Attention PVC women, join us for a day trip to New York City!! We will leave Haymarket at 6:30 AM and return around 11:00 PM. We'll have movies and snacks for the bus ride! A restroom is also available. While in NYC we will have plenty of time to shop and sightsee. We will visit Midtown Manhattan as well as Little Italy and China Town. The price per person is $75 with a $30.00 non-refundable but transferrable deposit. Please sign up ASAP as seats are limited! Volunteers Urgently Needed!

As we seek to give our regular volunteers some time off this summer, we need individuals who are willing to fill in for them. This is a great time to try out the preschool or elementary ministries.

No experience is required; only a love for children and a willingness to serve.

At the moment we have an urgent need for people to work in our nursery and toddler rooms.

Elementary Sports Camp - Adult Volunteers needed!

    Assistant coaches for soccer, Team 45 and child care are needed
    for the event.

    Cost: $80 per student
