Sound & Lighting Volunteers Needed

PVC is in desperate need of people who want to volunteer for sound/lighting setup and breakdown. Setup time is at 5pm on Saturday nights and breakdown is at 12:15 on Sunday afternoon. We are looking for people who can commit to either of these at least once or twice per month. A group leader is also needed. This person would be in charge of scheduling other volunteers and overseeing the process.

Singer & Musicians
PVC is in need of musicians who can play bass, guitar, keyboard or is able to sing. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Mark McKeehan or please call the PVC office - 703-366-3870

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University
Wednesdays, beginning September 9th, from 6:30-8:30pm or Sundays, beginning September 13th from 4:00-6:00pm. This is a 14 week program, grounded in scripture, is a life-changing program that teaches you how to make right choices with your money. Stop by the Financial Peace table or contact Jennifer Zombron or Chris Pool.

Cookout for Troops @ Walter Reed

We will be having a cookout for the troops at Walter Reed on September 5th from 2:30-6:30 pm. Last year, we served approx 200 troops and expect to serve about 200 this year as well. We are asking for volunteers in every area possible... preparing food, serving, clean-up, etc. We are in need of food donations of meats, vegetables, side dishes and deserts. It is opportunity for us to serve those who have served us. Please email Shirley Dominick if you would like to help or for more info.

SERVE Meal Dates Have Been Changed!
PVC loves to serve the community. We are giving you the opportunity to be involved with changing peoples lives. Volunteers are needed to help provide meals for SERVE on the following dates: August 30th, October 25th November 26th, 27th & 28th December 24th or 27th For more in depth information on how you can help please contact Lisa Malone.

SERVE Child Care volunteers needed

PVC needs volunteers to help with an arts and crafts program, teen activities, and child care for children under the age of 4 on Thursday, August 27 at SERVE located in Manassas, VA.

SERVE requires that all adults in the shelter attend mandatory classes so PVC will provide a program for the kids. This is a perfect service opportunity for teens and parents!

PVC Music Last Weekend The PVC Band's sole purpose each week is to create an environment where our church as a corporate body can come together and sing out our praises to God. We are the Musicians, You are the Choir and God is our audience! Please join us in this time of singing to and worshiping God together!
