When You feel Unappreciated

What to do when you feel unappreciated?

I think all of us feel unappreciated at times and it hurts. Nothing tests our motives more than loving someone who takes us for granted. Jeremiah was despised by the very people that he loved with all his heart. Even though he was unappreciated, his calling from God and his love for his people would not change. This attitude of obedience and faithfulness caused Jeremiah to be one of the most successful prophets in the Old Testament even though not one person during his 50 years of ministry believed what he said. Join us at Park Valley Church in the month of January as we develop a plan from the Bible on what to do when we feel unappreciated.

Service Times:
Saturday @ 6:30 pm
Sunday @ 9:00 am, 10:00 am & 11:15 am

"Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were
working for the Lord rather than for people."
Colossians 3:23 NLT

Celebrate Recovery
The purpose of Park Valley Church's Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "8 Recovery Principles". This experience allows us to "be changed". Watch this video to see how people, just like you, are getting victory over their hurts, habits and hang-ups. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our lives' problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power. Celebrate Recovery meets every Wednesday night at Deja Brew Coffee House in Gainesville at 7:00 pm.

.roots is a community of young adults who are striving to find the life God intends for all of us - the very best life possible! We accomplish this by studying, discussing & applying scripture together. Our group meets at the Deja Brew Coffee House.

For more information, please email Davey and Karen Shollenberger or call them at 540.729.3663.

Small Groups
We want to see every person in our community connected in a healthy small group. We are passionate about this! We want the people of our church to build friendships and connect with others. We all need friends who we can not only have fun with but who will also hold us accountable in our walk with God and encourage us when we're down. Why don't you give it a shot? If you would like, we will do all the work connecting you to a group.

For more information, please email Larry Warren or call him at 703.366.3870.
