DISASTER RELIEF TEAM

The Park Valley Church Disaster Relief Team (PVC-DRT) is a volunteer ministry providing disaster assistance to the eastern half of the United States. As a Lighthouse Church Partner with Samaritan’s Purse, our volunteers serve as the hands and feet of Jesus sharing hope with those impacted by disasters.

The PVC-DRT is a great way to connect and serve. No experience is required; we supply the training, gear and equipment. Our typical deployment team is a blend of 6-14 men and women ranging in age from mid-30’s to late 70’s. Can’t deploy? No problem, we have a robust logistics program and administrative functions that need your help.

We are looking forward to serving with you!

WHAT IS MY NEXT STEP?

  • You can become an Operational / Deployable Member - Members are considered generally available to deploy out of the area for 3-10 days. These members are also generally available to support the team logistically in preparation for the deployment.

  • You can become a Support / Non-Deployable Member - These members are generally considered not available for deployments, however, are generally available to support the team logistically in preparation for the deployment.

Did you know the majority of disaster relief is given by faith based organizations in the US? Email us at drt@parkvalleychurch.com to learn how your church or organization can help by starting your own Disaster Relief Team.
