Special Needs | Open Arms

The Open Arms Ministry supports families and individuals with special needs into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is to create an accepting church environment for families impacted by special needs or disabilities. We want to better understand the challenges that families with special needs have and develop a plan that will facilitate a more inclusive and accommodating environment for them within our church.
During our weekend service times, we provide care for children with special needs. Our goal is to support children with special needs in an age-appropriate classroom with the right level of assistance. We actively engage parents in the process of providing for their child.

Gifts of joy
Third Tuesdays Each Month | 5:30-7:30PM
Gifts of Joy is a branch of Open Arms Ministry, which exists to support individuals with special needs, and to share the love of Jesus Christ. Gifts of Joy is for families with an adult loved one (age 18+) with any disability. Participants are invited to come with a caregiver or adult family member for fun social activities, fellowship and encouragement in their faith.
The group meets every 3rd Tuesday of each month from 5:30-7:30PM in the Kids' Auditorium.
youth sunday services
11:45 AM Sunday Service | Ages 14 - 18 years old
Open Arms Ministry hosts a youth service for students with disabilities, ages 14-18 years old, at our 11:45AM Worship Service each Sunday.
We asks parents and caregivers to please drop their student off upstairs in the multi-purpose room before.
