The Well
Throughout time, wells have been symbols of life change. A place of community, a place of work, and a source of life.
Park Valley Church is embarking on a two-week series, entitled 'The Well.' During these two weeks we as a church will dig deeper into the community God has surrounded us with, while actively participating in supporting a village across the world with access to their own well.

Jesus came and told his followers that, “whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again. In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water springing up in him for eternal life.” John 4:14

Building a Well:
Isagara Kiryanjojo, Benkia Community Project, & Kiliku Community
FULLY FUNDED
Thanks to the extreme generosity of our Park Valley Church family, we have been able to fully fund THREE wells.
Communities in Isagara Kiryanjojo, Uganda; The Benkia Community, Sierra Leone; and most recently the Kiliku Community, Kenya will all receive a new well of fresh, clean water thanks to your generosity.

Glory to God!
Building a Well:
Kriema Kiamp Community
Because of our Park Valley family, we are able to support the digging of a third well through The Water Project.

Our fourth well is located in the Sierra Leonian community of Kriema Kiamp. The well in Kriema Kiamp hasn’t worked since 2007. For the past 14 years, the 512 community members have been drinking nothing but swamp water.

Consuming the water from this source has had deadly consequences for the community members here from cases of typhoid and dysentery. The swamp is also at the bottom of a hill, which means the fertilizers from the farms up at the top of the slope pollute the pool of water below. The community elders advise the children to fetch the water early in the morning: by late afternoon, all the debris from the swamp would have settled at the bottom of its container.

Our church's generosity will give everyone within the community access to safe drinking water.
