Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. – 1 Cor. 13:7

The Marriage Ministry exists because we want your relationship to succeed. From a bedrock of Biblical teaching, we will equip, love, and support couples and families as they journey closer toward Jesus and each other.

We were not made to go through life alone – as individuals or as a couple. Join a Connect Group where you can share your story, be transparent and authentic, and mature spiritually.

You’re getting married, and we’re just as excited as you are! Our prayer for you from Ephesians 5:21 is that you “submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.”

Step 1: Fill out the bride, groom, and wedding applications. When completed, return them to
Step 2: We review the application then set up a time for a Pastor to meet with the couple in person or virtually.
Step 3: A Marriage Mentor will contact you to schedule your first session.

How long will it take?
Your marriage prep sessions are ten weeks (1 hour per week)

We’re not engaged but seriously dating. Can I sign up for marriage prep?

How much does it cost?
Sessions are free, but you will have to purchase your workbooks.

Do I have to go through marriage prep?
Yes. If you want a Pastor at Park Valley to officiate your wedding, marriage prep is a prerequisite.

Whether it is to prepare you for marriage with premarital sessions or you find yourself in a season of conflict with marital struggles, our Lay Helpers are here to embark on the journey with you. Who is a Lay Helper?

Lay helpers are mentors trained and educated through the Park Valley College. They are either students within the program completing practicum hours or those who graduated and are Certified in Religious Studies. Regardless of their education, training, licensure, or expertise, assigned Lay Helpers, supervisors, and staff members of Park Valley Church do not function in a professional role. They do not provide clinically-oriented mental health treatment or therapy. They are not licensed or professional counselors.
